The Skills Workshop is designed to introduce learners and adults to real-world practical skills through guided, hands-on learning experiences that build confidence, creativity, problem-solving ability and self-reliance.
In this workshop, participants will work step-by-step to build their own wooden toolbox project while learning valuable practical workshop skills that can be applied in everyday life.
Two workshop options are available:

Materials Excluded (participants may purchase a material kit separately or receive a material list beforehand)

The workshop is structured to be beginner-friendly while still giving participants a real sense of achievement by completing a project they can take home and use.
The environment is safe, supportive and focused on helping participants develop independence, patience, practical thinking and pride in their work.
All younger learner workshops include materials, guidance and supervised instruction throughout the session. Adult participants and older learners will receive guidance and instruction, with materials supplied separately unless otherwise arranged.
